Ultimate Flora Extra Care Probiotic • Reviewer’s Choice

Last updated on October 2, 2020 By Ken Silvers

Renew Life Ultimate Flora Extra Care is another popular probiotic supplement. Renew Life offers several formulas for different purposes and gut problems. This review is about their standard probiotic supplement, but I also comment briefly on other formulas too.

One thing that makes Ultimate Flora different is its high bifido count, 30 billion. The bifido cultures are most prevalent in the large intestine or colon. Is this good? Read on.

Ultimate Flora Extra Care features

Ultimate Flora Extra Care is designed to balance the small and large intestines where many gut problems occur. For example, after antibiotics many problems occur in the small and large intestines. Ultimate Flora reflects serious research and their homepage is very informative and clearly outlines quality and ingredients.

Summary of features

  • One capsule contains 30 billion bifido bacteria from six strains
  • 20 billion active Lactobacilli cultures from six strains
  • Delayed release helps deliver bacteria live and active
  • In total 12 bacteria are used, all well-researched
  • A total of 50 billion active bacteria per capsule, excellent!
  • Potency guaranteed until expiration
  • Free of gluten and dairy

Good when on antibiotics

Ultimate Flora’s high count of bifido bacteria makes it a good choice when on antibiotics. Antibiotics can devastate the intestinal, therefore, compensating before, during and after is wise.

What about cost?

A box with 60 capsules is around $49.00. The dose is one capsule per day. If you’re on a low budget, try using a capsule every second day. It’s half the price, but the effect still noticeable. However, some might need more than one capsule per day. Or better, try the stronger formula below.

NOTE: This is a potent supplement. Therefore, some might experience mild side effects. Try emptying a capsule in a glass of water or juice and drink this slowly during the day.

Verdict

Ultimate Flora Extra Care has the hallmark of a very well composed supplement. Independent lab tests reveal a high-quality supplement that is pure and safe. There are also many satisfied customers adding to the trust. You will not be wasting your money on this one.

Other Ultimate Flora probiotics

Ultimate Flora offers a range of formulas, each for specific needs. As far as I could see in this review, they all keep the same high standard.

Ultimate Flora Extra Care 200 Billion. This is a 7-day intensive program for around $22. Each serving contains 200 billion CFU. This much bacteria is effective during illness, when on antibiotics or when travelling abroad with increased risk of infection. It can be used as an intense remedy for a week or more to quickly restore gut balance and fight off bacteria and yeast infections or just for a gut detox. I’ve come across people claiming that this supplement is effective for depressions, especially when taken together with larger doses of omega-3 oil like fish or krill oil. However, this should be done under the direction of a health-care professional.

If your gut is infected by harmful bacteria or candida yeast, you might experience a headache, flu-like symptoms, diarrhoea, skin rashes, or constipation. If such case, lower the dose until symptoms disappear. Most symptoms are completely harmless.

Ultimate Flora Adult Formula. This formula is aimed for people aged 15 to 49. It contains 15 billion bacteria in each capsule; 10 strains of bifido and lactobacilli. This supplement has a bit lower price ($52 for 90 caps), for those who need a stable, daily maintenance dose. For this purpose, it is an excellent supplement.

Ultimate Flora Adult, for ages 50+. Contains 30 billion CFU per capsule from 10 bacteria strains. It is known that, as we grow older, the digestive tract needs more support to keep running smoothly. Therefore, adding more bacteria is a good way to compensate. And there is little to no risk to overdose. The digestive tract naturally contains trillions of bacteria.

Because each person has a unique gut, you just have to try see which supplement best covers your needs. For some 15 billion might be enough, others need more. In any case, Ultimate Flora Probiotic formulas are all of high quality and any of them will have a positive effect on the gut.

This is the best probiotic that I have ever used and I have tried over dozen different brands. I would highly suggest it! My health is excellent since I started taking it. I feel like my body is 12 years old again. I was even in contact with Swine-flu case and never got sick. This product is really amazing I convinced everyone I know to try it and they are beyond impressed!

Great to hear you found something that really helps! Your gut contains a highly unique bacterial fingerprint. This means that each person will react differently on the same probiotic supplement. Most people will not differ that much. It all depends of your genetic makeup, amount of bad bacteria and yeast in your intestines, level of stress and other factors. So if you’ve found something that really works for you, then by all means stick to it.
